We primarily perform coronary angiography and stenting, TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation), CTO (chronic total occlusion) treatment, carotid stenting, peripheral artery treatments, and pacemaker implantation.
It varies depending on the procedure. You can be discharged on the same day for a simple angiography, and the next day for stenting procedures. For TAVI, the hospital stay is typically 3 to 5 days.
TAVI is a minimally invasive (closed) procedure designed especially for elderly patients with a high risk for open-heart surgery, and it carries a significantly lower risk compared to surgery.
